Advanced Accounting for Treasurers - The Charity Commission and the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator are responsible for issuing the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) for charities. Do you know whether your accounts should be verified, examined or audited or understand SORP Regulations? This workshop will be on Wednesday 15th February 2012 at The Orchard between 9.30am to 12.30pm. It will help you understand the regulations, the terminology and help you prepare your Trustees' Annual financial report. Basingstoke Voluntary Services, as part of the Basingstoke and District Learning Partnership "Purple Book", is running this workshop to help current or potential volunteers who want to learn new skills or wish to enhance or update their existing knowledge.
