Attracting Volunteers

Attracting volunteers - A workshop for organisations that wish to attract volunteers, looking at current difficulties with recruitment, new avenues of recruitment opportunities and most important of all, how to present voluntary opportunities in a way that will attract the volunteers with the most to give you. At the end of the workshop, you will have a brand new description for at least one volunteer role, and you'll have the opportunity to advertise this and any other roles with the Volunteer Centre. This workshop will be on Wednesday 8th February 2012 at The Orchard between 7pm to 9pm. Basingstoke Voluntary Services, as part of the Basingstoke and District Learning Partnership "Purple Book", is running this workshop to help current or potential volunteers who want to learn new skills or wish to enhance or update their existing knowledge.
