BVS Assistance

BVS Assistance

Although BVS is the professional help and advice centre for voluntary/community organisations in Basingstoke and Deane we also work very closely with our statutory partners, businesses and residents.

Some of the ways in which BVS can work with you are

Linking the voluntary/community sector and partners together

Ensuring that the voice and values of the sector are represented at meetings

Providing Merlin Reports around the Home Office Service Specification Categories OR in more detail around specific services - these can include services in a specific area

Sharing the information that BVS Full members are asked on what services they provide that help the Basingstoke Area Strategic Partnership (BASP) achieve their Community Strategy objectives

Providing targeted mailings on your behalf around a range of information including Home Office Service Classifications, Detailed Services, Home Office Beneficiaries, Client Ages to ensure the right organisations are invited to your meetings/conferences or to circulate your consultations*

* For non members and our partners there is a small charge for the circulation service - contact Maureen on 01256 423815 for more details

Providing an opportunity to place articles in our monthly Vol.Comm Newsletter which is currently distributed to 759 recipients

The BVS monthly Voluntary Sector Forum provides the mechanism for partners to address a selection of the voluntary/community sector with issues they wish to discuss - the minutes are currently circulated to 383 different people
