People's Postcode Trust

Funded by the purchase of tickets for the People’s Postcode Lottery, this scheme awards grants of up to £20,000 for a range of purposes and activities - next open from 1st August 2017

The Edge Fund

Edge Fund supports those taking action for a just, equitable and sustainable world. We fund work that challenges abuses of power and aims to bring an end to the systems that cause injustice. 17/04/17

SUEZ Communities Trust

Grants of up to £50,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations whose significant community leisure amenity improvement project has an overall cost of no more than £250,000. Deadline 24.4.17.

WREN Community Fund

WREN is a not-for-profit business that helps benefit the lives of people who live close to landfill sites by awarding grants for community, biodiversity and heritage projects. Deadline 17th May 2017

Power To Change - Community Business Fund

Funding to help existing locally based and community-led businesses in England to increase their social impact impact and make them more viable in the long term. Reopens early summer 2017

Feminist Review Trust

The Feminist Review Trust gives grants to projects in the UK and internationally that support women, Next submission deadline is 30 April 2017

Bright Ideas Fund

The Community Business Bright Ideas Fund aims to give your community group the support and tools to start setting up your community business. Reopens in April 2017.

A B Charitable Trust

The Trust is particularly interested in charities that work with marginalised and excluded people in society Next deadline date is 19th May 2017.

Veolia Environmental Trust

The Trust was established in 1997 under the Landfill Communities Fund. We support a wide range of community and environmental projects throughout the UK. Next deadline date is 25th May.

Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust

Donating to UK registered charities with objectives which: benefit or protect animals; relieve animals from suffering; conserve wild life; encourage the understanding of animals. Deadline 1st May

Urban Community Energy Fund

A financial support scheme aimed at urban communities across England wanting to set up renewable energy generation projects in their area. Next deadline 31st March 2017.

Co-op Local Community Fund

We're looking for 3 projects in each of around 1500 local communities across the UK which are led by small locally based organisations to benefit their local communities. Closed (reopens 2017)

HCC - Culture and Community Activity Grants

Hampshire County Council’s Culture and Community Activity Grants scheme, for project costs between £1,001 and £3,000, is now open for applications. Next Deadline : April 2017

Woodland Trust - Tree Packs

Free trees for school, community and youth groups. The Woodland Trust have 3250 free tree packs to give away to school, community and youth groups early next year.

National Vegetarian Week Grants

If you’re planning an activity or event for National Vegetarian Week 2017, we may be able to help fund it with a grant. Deadlines from 22 January through 30 April.

Armed Forces Community Covenant Grant

The Community Covenant Grant scheme has been set up to fund local projects which strengthen the ties or the mutual understanding between members of the Armed Forces Community and the wider community.

Paul Hamlyn Foundation - Arts Open Grant Scheme

No minimum or maximum grant stipulated however in 2008/9 grants range from £5,000 to £240,000. Grants can be up to 3 years. Projects targeting young people, inter-generational groups & communities.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust
