Everyone needs help at sometime in their lives.
When it is needed you might not know where to go. Basingstoke Voluntary Services created the Merlin Directory in order to help the residents of Basingstoke and Deane find help when it is needed.
You can search by
Organisation
| Services using a Home Office Service Classifications and then selecting a Specific Service A Wildcard Service Search where you can type in part of the service you are interested in Health Condition Support Groups by selecting a Body Part and then the specific Health Condition A specific Area where services are available A specific Post Code where services are available Venues available for Hire If you have any difficult in using the searches telephone 01256 423816 for assistance See below for the different search facilities |
Search by Organisation
Search the Merlin Charities Directory by the Name of the Organisation. Type in the first letter of the name and then use the drop down to select the organisation
Search by Service
Merlin Services Search. Use the first box to select the Home Office Services Classification and then the second box to select the specific service you are interested in. The organisation(s) that provide the service will then appear.
Services Wildcard Search
Merlin Charities Directory Service Wildcard Search. Type in any part of the Service you Require - type in enough to give you a good result eg disab for all services where disability or disabilities appear
Health Condition Support Search
Merlin Charities Directory Health Condition Support Group Search. Use the first box to select which NHS body part and then the second box to select the specific health condition. The information for the Support Group will then appear
Area Search
Merlin Charities Directory Area and Services Search. Use the first box to select the area and the second box to select the service that is available. The organisations(s) that provide the service in the area will then appear. TIP: For a service provided across the Borough select All of Basingstoke and Deane
Post Code Search
Merlin Charities Directory Post Code and Services Search. Use the first box to select the Post Code and the second box to select the service.
