Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust

Each year, the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust awards a number of grants to individuals undertaking nature conservation project. Next Deadline is the 20th April 2017.

The Idlewild Trust

The Idlewild Trust is a grant making trust that supports registered charities concerned with the encouragement of the performing and fine arts and crafts. Next deadline is 7th September 2017

The Architectural Heritage Fund

The AHF is a registered charity, working to promote the conservation and sustainable re-use of historic buildings for the benefit of communities across the UK. Next deadline is 10th May.

D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust

The Trust funds UK registered charities in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement. Next deadline:19th June 2017

Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust

The Trust funds about 100 charities each year. Recipients must be registered charities but the trustees have complete discretion as to the type of charitable work supported. Next deadline 1st Jun 2017

Veolia Environmental Trust

The Trust was established in 1997 under the Landfill Communities Fund. We support a wide range of community and environmental projects throughout the UK. Next deadline date is 25th May.

Woodward Charitable Trust - Ongoing

Children's Summer Playscheme 2017 deadline is Friday, 7th April 2017. Many other programmes with a deadline of 31st July 2017.

Grow Wild

Grow Wild is awarding £500 to young people aged 12–25 to lead projects that will raise awareness about the importance of UK native wild flowers and plants. Deadline 27 Feb 2017.

Southern Water Community Grant

Southern Water supports initiatives which encourage an understanding of the water cycle, abstraction, treatment and distribution of water and recycling back into the environment. Deadline 19 Mar 17

Urban Community Energy Fund

A financial support scheme aimed at urban communities across England wanting to set up renewable energy generation projects in their area. Next deadline 31st March 2017.

HCC - Culture and Community Activity Grants

Hampshire County Council’s Culture and Community Activity Grants scheme, for project costs between £1,001 and £3,000, is now open for applications. Next Deadline : April 2017

Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust

Principal support is given to charities working in the fields of Wildlife and Environmental Conservation (UK and International), and charities operating in the county of Sussex.

Finnis Scott Foundation

The Trustees can make grants for any charitable purpose, focusing grant-making in the areas of horticulture and plant sciences, as well as fine art and art history. Next Deadline 24th Mar 2017.

Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation - Ongoing

This fund supports a wide range of areas including Community, Education, Health, Social Welfare

The Skinners' Company - Lady Neville Charity

Provides grants that will make a clear and significant contribution to grass-roots charitable organisations working in designated priority areas. Next deadline is 10th March 2017

Community Kickstart Grants

Community Kickstart provides grants to organisations across the region every week over the next 12 months.

Woodroffe Benton Foundation

The Foundation offers grants in the areas of: Relief of Hardship; Care for the Elderly; Education & Youth Development; Environment & Conservation. Quarterly Deadlines.

Community Greenspace Grants (Bags of Help)

Community schemes funded by Tesco's carrier bag charges. Funding available for capital improvements to local community greenspaces, parks, play areas etc.

Lush Cosmetics Charity Pot

Up to £10,000 available for support in animal welfare and human rights projects. The scheme funds environment/conservation, animal protection & human rights. Priority is given to less popular causes.

The Rhododendron Trust

The Trust's grants are focused mainly on the welfare of the disadvantaged in both the developing world and the UK, but also supporting a several arts and wildlife charities
