Youth Worker Vacancies

We are pleased to announce that we currently have two Youth Work positions available, to help assist running two outreach community youth clubs

Basingstoke Voluntary Action (BVA) supports over 450 voluntary and charity organisations operating in the Basingstoke area. We provides professional advice,  grant application assistance, recruitment of volunteers and DBS checking and anything to make a charity flourish. We also provide directly managed services covering young people, young carers and homelessness.  Our mission is “To improve the quality of people’s lives through effective and sustained voluntary and community action in Basingstoke and Deane.”

BVA are looking for two passionate and enthusiastic people to join our ‘Young Carers Department’ to support the growth of two of our outreach youth work venues.

The Youth Clubs programme of delivery is provided by us in partnership with Bramley Parish Council and The Kingsclere Youth Club Association.  

Job Title:

Project Youth Support Worker

Grade:

£18,000 pro rata ( £9.33 per an hour)

Hours:

7.5 hours per week one year Fixed Term (includes evening work)
