Basingstoke and Deane Housing Partnership Board

The Housing Partnership Board is one of the priority action groups that sit within the Basingstoke Area Strategic Partnership.  The PAGs lead on the co-ordination and monitoring of actions against targets, ensuring that partnership activity focuses on and delivers the agreed BASP priorities within agreed timescales.  The Housing Partnership Board PAG key priorities are: Supply of affordable housing (land release); Keeping people in their homes (debt); Communications Plan  

Hampshire Alliance for Rural Affordable Housing (HARAH)

The Hampshire Alliance for Rural Affordable Housing addresses the need for affordable housing in the villages of Hampshire. Members of HARAH include the Hampshire County Council, the Hampshire Rural Housing Enablers (RHEs), the Homes and Communities Agency, the six rural local authorities in Hampshire (Basingstoke and Deane, East Hampshire, Hart, New Forest, Test Valley, Winchester) and the New Forest National Park Authority.

Hampshire Rural Forum

The Hampshire Rural Forum is an independent stakeholders' organisation with an overview of rural affairs that aims to help Hampshire's rural communities become more efficient and sustainable socially, economically and environmentally. The group is chaired by Cllr Ray Ellis from the Hampshire County Council and membership from the local district councils, rural interest groups and DEFRA.

HIOW Strategic Housing Officers Group (SHOG)

The work of the SHOG includes: undertaking work in support of the Housing Theme of the Hampshire LAA including LPSA2 targets, sharing housing related information and best practice, undertaking or commissioning appropriate pieces of work e.g. Accommodation Assessments for minority groups, receiving regular updates on strategic housing matters from GOSE and the HCA and receiving reports from task and finish groups e.g. Homelessness, Housing Advisory, Gypsies and Travellers, Health and Wellbeing Partnership. SHOG comprises of Strategic Housing officers from each of the Hampshire districts, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight together with officers from HCC's Adult Services, Environment Department, and PBRS, representatives from GOSE and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
