Keeping, valuing and supporting your volunteers - If your organisation recruits volunteers but isn't keeping them on board, this workshop may be for you! Find out how to identify signs and causes of de-motivation; understand why volunteers leave; look at ways to value, acknowledge and support your volunteers through effective supervision and therefore get the absolute best they can give. This workshop will be on Wednesday 7th March 2012 at The Orchard between 7pm to 9pm. Basingstoke Voluntary Services, as part of the Basingstoke and District Learning Partnership "Purple Book", is running this workshop to help current or potential volunteers who want to learn new skills or wish to enhance or update their existing knowledge.
