This is an accredited and certified course which covers the following: Management of a first aid incident in an emergency. Administer first aid to a casualty who is: unconscious (including seizures), choking, wounded and bleeding, suffering from a burn, suffering from shock, cardio pulmonary resuscitation. The role of the first aider including; communicating with and monitoring a casualty. Contents of first aid kit and hygiene precautions. Reporting of incidents and accidents. Minor conditions – including minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds and small splinters. This course qualifies delegates for up to three years upon completion.
