What BVS can Offer VCO
BVS provides guidance, information, support and resources for voluntary and community organisations (VCO) providing a service in Basingstoke and Deane.
These include:
- One-to-One Group Support
- Communication of events; updates to legislation; funding opportunities; local, county, regional and national information that affects our sector
- Forums to network and inform the voluntary and community sector and partners
- Funding Searches through an online searchable database Basingstoke4Community
- Hire of a range of equipment
- Monthly Newsletter Vol.Comm and our monthly Voluntary Sector Forum gatherings available to all Voluntary Community Sector groups
- Organisation of public events that enable groups to engage with the public, fundraise and promote themselves
- Representation and advocacy for the voluntary and community sector to embed and empower local groups to take part in partnerships to ensure that policies and services are developed in light of the views of local vulnerable residents

BVS gathers statistics on behalf of the sector to produce an annual State of the Sector Report showing the wealth of services provided by voluntary/community organisations working in the Borough and places a monetary value that we bring into Basingstoke and Deane To access the above services or to become a member of BVS complete the BVS Registration Form and return by email to bvs@voluntaryservices.com or telephone 01256 423816 for more information. TIP: Click on the Registration Form and save it to your computer. Use the TAB and the drop down menus to complete the form. Save the document with your organisation's name and send it back to BVS by email
